      IT'S HARVEST TIME!! (MATT. 9:37-38)
. {MAN PREDETERMINES AND SEALS HIS OWN FATE BEFORE HE DIES}! While he lives, every person is given a free will choice to spend eternity either with *God,* or with Satan. Here, Jesus is giving a parable, (an earthly story, with a heavenly meaning, a true picture), of the fate of him that chooses the latter. (Luke 16:19-31) (Luke 16:19-31 (CEV) (Luke 16:19-31) (MSG) After his death, he can not make that decision! The choice is his, and he alone must decide. He prearranges his future home for eternity! {NOTICE}, IN THE BIBLE, THAT ETERNAL LIFE, OR EVERLASTING LIFE, ARE NEVER REFERRED TO THE UNBELIEVER, BUT WORDS LIKE the following: they are "Suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." (Jude 1:7f) "But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation," (Mark 3:29) "Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?" (Isa. 33:14d)
The wicked will go "Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched." (Mark 9:44) (Mark 9:44 (MSG)
This is a quote from (Isa. 66:24c-d) (Isa. 66:24c-d)-MSG) and this also is the fate of all unbelievers and blasphemers, who refused to trust Christ for salvation, but contributed the work of the Holy Spirit to be an evil spirit. Now if they accept Christ as their personal savior, (change their minds, and repent while there is still time), they will receive forgiveness from their sins. (1 John 4:15)
This is called, ("Judicial forgiveness from the penalty of sins; it is called judicial forgiveness, because it is granted by *God* acting as judge." A quote from (Believer's Bible Commentary), They are born-again)! (John 3:1-8) (John 3:1-8 (NLT) Then, they must turn away from all sins and live a godly life. If they are guilty of backsliding, or indulging in some kind of sin; they must ask for forgiveness form their Father.Since they have a {relationship} with *God,* forgiveness is needed from Him only-once! (Rom. 10:9)
But, for {fellowship} with God their Father, forgiveness could be needed more than-once, This is called "The believers' prayer." (1 John 1:9 (NLV) (Now this is parental forgiveness of their Father, it is called Parental forgiveness, because while they are born into the family of *God,* and have a {relationship} with Him *for-ever,* and have become, "...The sons of God:" (daughters) (1 John 3:1c) their {fellowship} with *God,* and true believers, can-be-broken,-by-un-repented-sins). (1 John 1:7) (1 John 1:7)(MSG) While the believer can be forgiven over and over to maintain-fellowship-with-God, the unbeliever need to be forgiver only once to have a relationship with Him.* Because "...He is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (II Cor. 5:17b-f) When it comes to his New Nature or Position in Christ, "...He cannot sin, because he is born of God." (I John 3:9c-d) Now if the sinner dies while living a life of sin, (not forgiven from the penalty of sin, the (sinful-nature) and has never been "Born-again," he doesn't have a {relationship} with *God);* he is not entitled to spend eternity with Jesus. There will be no corrupted people in heaven, and we certainly wouldnt want to be there! (Rev. 22:11-17) (Rev. 22:11-17 (TLB)

(v. 30) And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. (Luke 10:27a-e)

(II) (v. 31) And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."} (Matt. 19:19b)-(KJV)

"For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." (Gal. 5:14) (a) (Lev. 19: 18c)
From "The*marriage*supper*of*the*Lamb: "The parable of the 10 virgins explains the place of Israel true converts of the Great Tribulation period in relation to the church. These virgins (Gr. parthenos, cf. 1:23), are the attendants at the wedding, not multiple brides. The one bride of Christ is the church, John the Baptist is the best man (John 3:29, friend of the Bridegroom), and the prepared virgins are the saved of the Great Tribulation. While all share as the people of God, the church is accorded a unique relationship to the Master.
The fact that they all slept while the bridegroom tarried implies a period of Jewish inactivity during the church age while the bride is gathered."
{Annotations from THE KING JAMES STUDY BIBLE}
*Will He do so begrudgingly? No! Christ will welcome this person into paradise with tears of joy and a warm embrace. And this person will have so much more to be thankful for because he will know more than ever that the gift of God comes from His grace. (Eph. 2:8)
* Jesus understood this principle when He forgave the woman who washed His feet with her tears. He noted that her love was greater because she was forgiven much (Luke 7:40-47).
*If you have days when you feel like you can not qualify for even door keeping in Heaven do not let that discourage you. Jesus has not only covered your sin with His sacrifice. But He promises to help you overcome sin power in your life. Your ticket is more than a piece of paper that gets you into Heaven if you keep your nose clean. It empower you to live the kind of life you will live in heaven-right now!
*What ever you have done with the ticket Jesus gave you; take a close look at it now and consider what it means.

* I WOULD RATER BE A DOORKEEPER IN THE HOUSE OF MY GOD THAN TO DWELL IN THE TENTS OF WICKEDNESS.-(PSALM 84:10 NKJV)
*(Written by Robin Schmidt)
*Also consider what Jesus said (in John 6:39)
1. {ADULTERY}= (Married but having sexual relationships outside of his or her marriage; it is important to take sides with *God* against sin, without any reservation). For God VII commandment is "Thou shalt not commit adultery" (Ex. 20:14) Prohibit-it. (Prov. 6:32-35 (NLT) (EPH. 5:3) I tied the "Fruit of the Spirit" in with the "Works of the flesh," to show the big different. "For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that you cannot do the things that you would." (Gal. 5:17 (MSG) This is what the apostle Paul meant for the saints in Galatia to see. Paul told them, "you received the Holy Spirit when you received Jesus Christ as your LORD and Savior." For Paul said, "Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ he is none of his." (Rom. 8:9:d-e)
Now the Holy Spirit took up permanent Resident in the believer at the moment of conversion, "That he may abide with you for ever;" (John 14:16c) But the believer also need to, "Walk in the Spirit" (Gal. 5:16b) and to take Paul's advice, (man or woman, boy or girl), "And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;" (Eph. 5:18) to do that one need to, "Stay-prayed-up." If you stay prayerful you will "Stay-Spirit-filled." So continue-to-be-filled with the Holy Spirit. A Christian is filled with the Holy Spirit when He controls his [thoughts] (Job 31:1), his [attitudes] (1 Pet. 1:15-16), and his or her [actions] (Col. 3:8-10). To do this you will have to, ("Stay-prayed-up),=(Spirit-filled"),=(Spirit-led)!!! (Jude 20-21) (Eph. 5:18 (MSG)
   2. {FORNICATION}=(Those who are not married, and will not wait on *God* for a companion. "And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him." (Gen 2:18) 2:18 HBV But they will not wait on *God,* for a companion. Neither will they {Heed}, the LORD {Pleas}, "Fee fornication...."

 (1 Cor. 6:18a)
So they go-on-and commit fornication, a part from being married). There is also a spiritual side to committing adultery and fornication, that believers can commit against *God.* It is called, "Flirting with the world every chance you get." (1 John 2:15-16)
Here is another quote from Purpose Driven Life, by Rick Warren. Pastors. com He stated that, "There was a retiring missionary coming home to America on the same boat as the president of the United States. Cheering crowds, military band, a red carpet, banners, and the media welcomed the president home." And he said, "but the missionary slipped off the ship unnoticed. Felling self-pity and resentment, he began complaining to *God.* Then *God* gently reminded him, "but my child, you're not home yet." You will not be in heaven two seconds before you cry out. "Why did I place so much importance on things that were so temporary? What was I thinking? Why did I waste so much time, energy, and concern on what not going to last?"
3. {UNCLEANNESS}=(Are the following: moral evil, sensuality, satanic oppression, and occult activity. Homosexuality and all other sins are called "Uncleanness," in the scriptures! (Eph. 5:3-6) (2 COR. 7:1-2) In a sense, all uncleanness is sin; we can use the implied scripture, "Cleanness is next-to-godliness." The apostle Paul said that many of the Corinthians had "...Sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed." (2 Cor. 12:21d-e)
For if we will lift up, the Mighty "...Shield of faith," (Eph. 6:16b) and "Fight the good fight of faith," (I Tim. 6:12a) and if we "Fight fire with fire," I mean, fight the flesh with the Spirit, (Rom. 8:13c) then, will we understand what *God* means when he says, "And the very *God* of peace sanctify you wholly;..." (1 Thess. 5:23a)
Here he means progressive holiness. The believer is already Holy according to his or her position or standing in the LORD, he received that at conversion. (*God's* part) His progressive sanctification is meant hear, and is an on-going-process. (man's part)
First, there are seven things He tells us to do. I. "{Rejoice evermore}." (1 Thess. 5:16) II. "{Pray without ceasing}." (1 Thess. 5:17) III. "{Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God will for you who belong to Christ Jesus}." (1 Thess. 5:18 (NLT) IV. "{Don’t stifle the Spirit}." (1 Thess. 5:19 (HCSB) (The one Spirit of *God,* the Holy Ghost, which you have if you are a born-again believer). (Eph. 1:13-14) V. "{Despise not prophesying}." (1 Thess. 5:20) VI. "{Prove all things; hold fast that which is good}." (1 Thess. 5:21) VII. "{Abstain from all appearance of evil}." (1 Thess. 5:22)
If you do this, you will experience a full flow,* of the Holy Ghost,* over-flowing-through-you, "Twenty-four-seven)!" (John 7:38 (NLV) (1 Thess. 5:16-23)
4. {LASCIVIOUSNESS}=(Lust=lewdness in a strong way; lascivious-wantonness="Dirty old men-Loose-women." Walking after the flesh is like, "...Blind leaders of the the blind, and going nowhere slow, (Matt. 16:14b) or "A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid." (seen) (Matt. 5:14b) And "Shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:" (Matt. 7:26c-d) You know that the flesh is in control; when you have prayer-less-men, gossiping-women, and worldly-young-people out of control.
With *God* Spirit moving upon him, Samson was the strongest man in his time, (Judges 15:14c) yet, he was no match for lust, because he failed to realize that without *"God's* Spirit moving mightily upon him," he was, "Like any other man." The same promise is to the believer today, because of *God's* Spirit. (1 John 4:4) please read companion scripture. (Acts 1:8)
{NOTICE}, What humanity fails to realize is, that "Three strikes you out!" Samson's first mistake was to disobey *God,* (when he married the woman at Timnath), "...And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me, for she pleaseth me well." (Judges 14:3e-f) Now Remember, what pleaseth man, does not always please *God.* But when he obeyed the LORD, the LORD was with him, "And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent" a lion "as he would have rent a kid,..." {STRIKE-1} (Judges 14:6a-b)
After that the smoke had blown over, he saw a {harlot} at Gaza, and went in unto to her, and stayed until midnight, for she pleased him well. {STRIKE-2} (Judges 16:1-3)
Finally, he meets Delilah, The {killer}! (Judges 16:4 (GNT) You know the story, how that when Delilah saw "That he had told her all his heart, how that his spiritual blindness, lead to his physical death). Then the sin cycle kicked-in, which "Blinds, Binds, and Grinds," away at men soul, Then the enemy,
(the Devil that-is, and Satan, that old serpent) moved in fast, and mocked-him-with-no-mercy. "But the Philistines took him and put out his eyes" (Judges 16:21a-b) Likewise, will he do to all, who serve him, see also).

(1 John 2:16)
 and (made sport of-him, laughed at-him etc.) {STRIKE-3-YOU OUT}! (Judges 16:30)
After all, the chapter ends on a good note, because Samson remembered to pray. And he said, "...O LORD God, remember me, I pray thee,..." (Judges 16:28c-e) God remembered him, and He will remember us if we pray.
  5. {IDOLATRY}=(The religious worship of idols: people worship their jobs, movie stars, rock stars, sports, silver, gold, money, power, astrology and occult, and even themselves. SEE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
(EX. 20:3-17) { Idolatry was one of the first commandments broken, before "The ten commandments" was given.   Terah, Abraham's father, was a idol merchant. (Gen. 11:27) Abram, at the time, before *God* change his name to "Abraham," would tell his father of the folly of idol worship, but his father wouldn't listen. One day, when Abram was left  alone to mind the store. Abram took a hammer and smashed all the idols except the largest-one. He placed the hammer in the hand of the largest-one. When his father returned and asked what happened, Abram said, "The idols got into a fight, and the big one smashed all the other ones." His father said, "Don't be ridiculous. These idols have no  life or  power. They can't do anything." Abram replied, "Then why do you worship them?"}
Unlike Solomon his son, David never went after idols, (other gods).

    (1 KINGS 11:1-4)
Likewise, *God* warns people now through believers, and his word. Sometimes people don't get but few warnings; will you answer his call?

{If your answer is yes, click-here}! (Gen. 7:23)

  6. {WITCHCRAFT}=(Sorcery=drugs, this is a BIG-MISTAKE, which covers all sorts of drugs; the Surgeon General stated over thirty years ago, and I quote, "Cigarette smoking may be

hazardous to one's health," unquote, the bible has stated that fact all along. "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." (3 John 2) "Satan comes for noting but to hurt-you, steal-from-you, kill-you, and to destroy-you." "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:..." (JOHN 10:10a-d) That's why he invented cigarettes, pipes, snuff and drugs! The victim go down fast, and hard, hence, fulfilling the devil's

 "Target text."

 (Pro. 10:26a (NIV)
To keep ahead of him, there are {5-THINGS-YOU-HAVE-PUT-OFF}{NOW-KEEP-THEM-MORTFIED}, (1. Sexual immorality, 2. impurity, 3. lust, 4. evil-desires, and 5. greed, which is idolatry." (Col. 3:5d-i (NIV) Now let your present state be consistent with your standing. "But now you also" {PUT-OFF} "all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy-communication-out-of-your-mouth." And "Lie not one to another..." (Col. 3:8-9a) {5-THINGS-TO-PUT-ON}, (1. ..."Tenderhearted mercy, 2. kindness, 3. humility, 4. gentleness, and 5. patience." (Col. 3:12b-f (NLT)
Unlike *God's* negative commandments which tells us to, "Put-off-evil-passions," that will keep us in the defensive-mode, (Col. 3:5-11) we can soar-on-to-Christian-growth, by obeying *God's* positive commandments that tells-us-to, {Put-on spiritual-virtues}. "Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;" (Col. 3:12) that will shift-us into the offensive-mode of Christianity. (Col. 3:12-17)
 7. {HATRED}=(ALL HATRED IS SIN, EXCEPT HATRED FOR SIN!
*GOD* CONSIDERS HATRED TO BE EQUAL TO MURDER! That is why *God* said in First John, the third chapter, and the fifteenth verse, "Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer...." (1 John 3:15a) Take Esau, for example, he hated his brother Jacob, with-out a cause, for he said, "...He took a way my birthright;..." (Gen. 27:36d) but he, "...For one morsel of meat sold his birthright." (Heb. 12:16d) 8. {VARIANCE}=(Debates, quarrels, and not being able to get along with people. Further on in this web-site, you will find some instructions on, "Warfare," I like to call it, "The believers' war-suit."Let me give you some of the enemies' "Weapons of war," (fiery darts, and tricks to look for, etc.), and the antidote for them; here is a few of them named out: first and far most is {FEAR}! (1 John 4:18) {DOUBT}! (Heb. 11:6)
 9. {EMULATIONS}=(Is jealousy, trying to be better than another. "...Jealousy is cruel as the grave...." (Song 8:6d) And it is one of the enemy's most used weapon of war. JEALOUSY IS WRONG IN A MAN, WOMAN, BOY OR GIRL! AND JEALOUSY IS A FORM OF IDOLATRY! THE ONLY JEALOUSY WHICH IS GODLY IS THE JEALOUSY THAT *GOD* HAS OVER HIS CHILDREN! AND THIS IS LOVING, PROTECTIVE JEALOUSY! "For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband," (born-again-believers are the bride-of-Christ), "that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ)."

(2 Cor. 11:2)

 (Rom. 11:14)
  10. {WRATH}=(Is anger at it's highest level, anger in action! The only anger that is healthy for the believer, is to be angry at sin. (Holy-anger) "And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but you have made it a den of thieves. (Mark 11:17) (Luke 19:45)
"God judgeth the rightous, and God is angry with the wicked every day." (Psa. 7:11)

  (Prov. 22:24)

(Col. 3:8) But for his own people, *God's* highest passion is to get his children-home. (in one piece that is, and not by destroying some of them-first, that is, they-are destroying them-selves). (1 Cor. 3:17a-b) And "God receives no worship from a believer who is not on speaking terms with another." (Matt. 5:23-24) A quote from William MacDonald.
   11. {STRIFE}=(Is strong bitter conflict, and discord; (Prov. 6:14-15) this "Work of the flesh," is numbered with the,
"Seven deadly sins," CLICK here and see! (Prov. 1:16-19) Jesus said, "For within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders," keep on reading, there is more! "Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness." (Mark 7:21-22) (Mark 7:21-22 (MEV) 12. {SEDITIONS}=(Causing disorder: divisions, over-throwing the government, and resisting authority, over-throwing homes, religion, churches; they accused apostle Paul with this crime

of sedition. (Acts. 24:5)

(Acts. 24:5) (NLV) Here is a quote from Purpose Driven Life, by Rick Warren; "You know spreading gossip is wrong, but you should not listen to it, either, if you want to protect your church." And he said, "Listening to gossip is like accepting stolen property, and it makes you just as guilty of the crime)." (Prov. 17:4 (CEV) (Prov. 16:28 (NLT)

The nine times sleep is used for dead in the NT, refer to believers. They will be easy-awaken "At the last trump:" for the dead will rise first, and we that are alive "...shall be changed." (I Cor. 15:52c & f)
"God is dealing with us as with his own children. He loves us too dearly to allow us to go on in sin. Thus we soon feel the shepherd's crook on our necks pulling us back to Himself." A quote from Believer's BIBLE COMMENTARY, BY WILLIAM MACDONALD. (1 Cor. 11:32)
  (Gal. 6:7-8) (1 Cor. 11:30) (Job (24:19 (NLT)

 14. {ENVYINGS}=(Is the displeasure at the success or prosperity of others; someone has suggested that, there are three questions we should answer before indulging in criticism, (finding fault or speaking evil of others). (1) What good does it do your brother? (2) What good does it do to yourself? (3) And What glory for *God* is in it?
 When we

envy or speak evil of others, we-bring-injury-to-ourselves, and more importantly, we grieve the "...Holy Spirit of God, whereby we are sealed unto the day of redemption. (Eph. 4:30) When there will be pay off time, (rewards for believers), "...That every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." (2 Cor. 5:10b-d) (5:10 (WYC) Thanks be to *God,* That we will be at this judgment! For at this judgment, no one will be lost, only the loss of rewards. (1 Cor. 3:15) So let us serve *God* with our (serving-faith). So that "...We may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming." (1 John 2:28f) Now unbelievers will not be at this judgment seat, because they have never trusted Jesus Christ to be their personal Savior to receive the Holy Spirit any way. (Eph. 1:13-14) 15. {MURDERS}= (Murder is the unlawful killing of others;(Num. 35:16-34) (Lev. 24:21 (NLT) that's why *God* said that his ministers, (servants of the law),
(the police force, the military etc.), "Beareth not the sword in vain:" (that is his weapons, guns etc.) (Rom. 13:4d) If he have-to, he is authorize to kill the killer. (murderer) It is called, (lawful killing). (Rom. 13:1-14 (HCSB) God also said that "Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed:" (Gen. 9:6a-b) And in Ecclesiastes he saith, "Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil." (Eccl. 8:11) It is sad to say, but it is true, when Cain killed, (murdered),
his brother Able, it set off the first, "Murdering spirit)." (Gen. 4:8)

 (1 Pet. 2:13-16)
  16. {DRUNKENNESS}=(ALCOHOLISM IS AMERICA'S #1 DRUG PROBLEM! ALCOHOL BRINGS SORROW AND DESOLATION. "Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrows, with the cup of astonishment and desolation,..." (Ezekiel 23:33a-b) ALCOHOLISM IS A SERIOUS DISEASE! National statistics tell us that out of the 60,000 deaths that will occur this year as a result of alcohol, 1/3 will be caused by teenage drivers under the influence of alcohol!
ALCOHOL CAUSES YOU TO WEEP AND HOWL. "Awake, you drunkards, and weep; and howl, all you drinkers of wine...." (Joel 1:5a-e) Here is a quotation from Believer's BIBLE COMMENTARY, BY WILLIAM MACDONALD. "It is the giving oneself over to the control of intoxication beverages with the resulting weakening of the will-power to resist temptation. There is a close link between drunkenness and immorality." {Plus}, My advice is, that if you are reading this now, please,-do-not-take that-first-drink! Two great men of
the bible, Noah and Lot, were over-taken-by-strong-drinks, (Gen. 9:20-21) "And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire be fore the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai,"(Num. 3:4a-c) and *God* killed them. And it could be because they had been drinking wine, or they had broken some other commandments that they knew were forbidden by the Lord; like not "...washing their hands and feet" (Ex. 30:21) when they came in to minister.* So my advice to you is, If you have already started drinking, please,-do-not-take that-next-drink! Read (Lev.10:1-2), and (10:8-9). 17. {REVELLINGS}=(Is the following: rioting, gatherings for entertainment, accompanied by wild parties; obscene talk, music, pictures, sex orgies, drugs, booze etc.
My friend take my advise and run, run, run as fast as you can from these things! 2 Tim. 2:22 (NASB) They will lead to destruction! Look around you, and see what it does to anyone who indulge in them. Man and woman, look-up and be an example, for the younger generation that will follow-in-your-steps. If you are reading this now, and you are caught-up in these mal behavioral pattern. Repent and turn-a-way from them. REPENTANCE means an about-face, turning one's back on sin and heading in the opposite direction. "It is a change of mind which produces a change of attitude, and results in a change of action." It signifies a man taking sides with *God* against himself and his sin.

 *{BACK TO*-*HOME*-*PAGE}*THE*FRUIT*OF*THE*SPIRIT

(Gal. 5:22-23)
1. *{LOVE}*
(Love is the first "Fruit of the Spirit," and this love will be given to all who will believe God for salvation. In first John, we see the nature of *God* explained in just three words in two passages of scripture, (1 John 4:8b) and (v. 16b) "*God* is love." Love is *God's* character, and he gives this "Fruit" to people at conversion, (when they repent of their sins), to build-up their character. For he, (Jesus, that is), said that love is the believer's "Calling card," to the world. "A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another." John 13:34Now, you received the {ability} to love every-one as *God* does, when you received Jesus Christ. And it is your {responsibility} to learn how to see, and love every-one, (race or creed), as *God* does. And with this love we can draw people to Christ* like a powerful-magnet. But the lack of love we will drive-them away. Jesus said, By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another." (v. 35)
It will be a good practice, (habit), to try to outdo one another in love. And this "Fruit," will also help your witnessing. Here's a quote from, "MAN'S QUESTION* *GOD'S* ANSWER. "{We touch *God* through prayer}: {praise}, {obedience}, {fasting}, and {speaking the word}." (*God* in turn), {reaches out and touches people through us}. (Acts. 1:8 1:8 (MSG) Remember,

love will cover the multitude of sins). (1 peter 4:8) 2. *{JOY}* 3. *{PEACE}*
It is a joy to know that, before Stephen was stoned to death, he "Looked-up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of *God,* and Jesus standing on the right hand of *God."* (Acts 7:55c) In the very same way, we can look into the scriptures, and see ourselves already in heaven, "...Hid with Christ in *God."* (Col. 3:3b)

4. *{LONGSUFFERING}*
(Longsuffering is the fourth, "Fruit of the Spirit." And it has patience built-with-in-it, patience with-yourself, and patience with others, just the opposite of a short-temper. And it is the fourth fruit, of "The fruit of the Spirit," and it is given at conversion, (the moment one believed). Here is a wise quotation from, Walter Henrichsen, "In striving to be perfect, don't expect instant perfection to come, and if it doesn't come, you feel a sense of guilt-feelings about yourself." *God* is more patient with-us than we-are with ourselves! *God* know that we will need strength to go through, "...Our light affliction, which is but for a moment,..." (one-second)=to-(one sixtieth of a minute)=(1/60), in this present world. (II Cor. 4:17a,b) (2 Cor. 4:17-18 (TLB)When a saint, "Skillful in the word," experience affliction and suffering, he or she probably will, think about Job, who with reference to scripture, he is the first, "Suffering saint," mention. But James said, "Is any among you afflicted? let him pray." (James 5:13a-b) Because "All scripture is given by inspiration of God," to believers for support, (II Tim. 3:16a) and here is one for the suffering saint.
(Job 19:25-27) Just remember, that our suffering (on this side), is just one-tick-of-the-clock, compared to eternity with Jesus Christ, (on the other side), Where, "...Neither shall there be any more pain)!!" (Rev. 21:4e) (Gal. 5:22 (5:22 (WYC)5. *{GENTLENESS}*
(Gentleness is the fifth, "Fruit of the Spirit," and it is needed to make the believer's life complete. Gentleness is kind: considerate, moderate, mild, not harsh, it is loving, and just the opposite of anger. Now you don't need to be, "Old Gentle Ben" to be gentle, (letting people walk all-over-you) ("...If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him;..." (Luke 17:3b-c) but you do need to be, "Spirit-filled=led." (Gal. 5:18) (5:18 (NASB) The bible says, "And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess," (harsh, harming oneself, and others, intemperance); "but be filled with the Spirit." (Eph. 5:18)Now you received the {Holy Spirit} of *God,* when you received Jesus Christ as your personal savior. (Rom. 8:9d-e) It was *God's* {Spirit of God}, that were drawing you to Christ. (John 6:44) And that same {Spirit} will abide with you for-ever, (not until you slip-up,-or-down, but for-ever!
In the OT David told *God* "...Take not thy holy spirit from-me." (Psa. 51:11b) Jesus answers back in the NT to all believers, I will "...Abide with you for ever;"* (John 14:16c) *God is saying, to-you, I may be grieve, with-you, but I will never leave-you). (Eph. 4:30) Now you can't be gentle, if you are not, "Spirit-filled." Jesus said, "...For without me you can do nothing." (John 15:5f) You see, Staying-filled with the Holy-Spirit is to the {believer}, what rain is to-the-{earth}, with-out-it, you will be fruit-less.). (Gal. 5:22e)
6. *{GOODNESS}* (Goodness is the sixth, "Fruit of the Spirit," and it is needed to make the believer's life, (man or woman, boy or girl), prosperous and wise. Solomon said, "The fruit of the righteous," (goodness) "is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise." (Prov.11:30) When the rich young ruler, called Jesus good Master, "...Jesus said unto him, why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God." (Mark 10:18) What the young ruler didn't know, that Jesus could see, "Straight through the heart." (Heb. 4:12) (4:12 (GNT) The young ruler could only see, "Through the material eye!" (riches-wealth etc.) It takes faith-to-exchange materialism for the-{CROSS}!! (John 19:30) (Matt. 16:24)
7. *{FAITH}* (Faith is the seventh, "Fruit of the Spirit." The scripture says, "But without faith it is impossible to please him:..." *(God).* (Heb. 11:6a) So if you want to please *God,* "(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)" to please him. (2 Cor. 5:7)
And "...Faith cometh by hearing" (or reading) "and hearing by the word of God." (Rom. 10:17) {Faith is to believe that something will-happen,*before it, does-happen}.* The greatest faith one can have is the faith to believe *God* for salvation. Then he or she must walk in his or her faith, and be faithful-to *God* and to-man. After salvation, some may receive, "The gift of faith." But in this passage, we will not deal with the latter. Now we know that one will {need}-to, "Believe-to-receive," (salvation that is). After then, he must be believed,-(faithful, with-substance, and with-time). Now *God* is moved by faith, and he is, (Faithful). (1 John 1:9) Faithfulness is to be reliable, and to be true to his or her word). All believers have serving-faith; (faithfulness, it came with the Spirit, at conversion, the moment one believed). (John 3:3) (6:44 (TMB) {Do you feel God drawing you to Christ now? He is, if you are a sinner}!
8. *{MEEKNESS}* (Meekness is the eighth, "Fruit of the Spirit." And it is "Enduring injury with patience and with-out resentment." "(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)" (Num. 12:3) The enemy will hit you where it hurts! He hit Moses with anger against the congregation, when *God* told him to speak to the rock for water. But "...Moses said unto them, Hear now, you rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?" (Num. 20:10b-e) That move caused Moses the promised land. (Num. 20:12) For Christ said, Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls." (Matt. 11:29)
Jesus, on his the way to the cross, were hit by the enemy with everything he had, but Jesus overcame him. And we can too, through Him! It is recorded in his word, "You are of *God,* little children, and have over come them: because greater is he that is in you," (the Holy Spirit=fruit=meekness, etc.) "than he that is in the world." (1 John 4:4) Christ speaks of this meekness in his "Sermon on the mount:" "The Beatitudes)." (Matt. 5:5 5:5. (CEV)
9. *{TEMPERANCE}* (Temperance is the ninth, "Fruit of the Spirit," and it brings self-control built-in-with-it; self-control, and love, is the glue, (Holy-Spirit) that hold these evil-passions, (Works of the flesh), in check. Earlier I pointed out from scripture, the "Seven deadly sins;" {the seven things that *God* hates}. NOW LET ME GIVE YOU {SEVEN THINGS THAT *GOD* LOVES}. (Seven ways to stay pure in *God's* eyes). (1) Repent of your sins and turn away from them! Because, "...He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins," (1 John 1:9b) (2) Do not have sex with anyone who is not your husband (or wife)! For "God" had said, "Thou shalt not commit adultery." (Ex. 20:14) (Eph. 5:25) (3) Do not drink, Because" "Wine [is] a scorner -- strong drink [is] noisy, And any going astray in it is not wise. (Prov. 20:1 (YLT) Or, "Don't use foul or abusive language..." (Eph. 4:29a (NLT) or mistreat anyone! But you should "Follow ye peace with all men," (Heb. 12:14a) (WYC)
(4) Go to church. For the scripture said, "Let us not stay away from church meetings" (Heb. 10:25a (NLV) (5) Use self-control! For "...Against such there is no law." (GAL. 5:23c) (6) Read your bible, "Till I come, give attendance to reading" (1 Tim. 4:13a-b) and Pray! "And the prayer of faith shall save the sick" "and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." (James 5:15a, c-d) (7) And Love your neighbor)! And "Do not hurt someone who has hurt you." (Lev. 19:18a (NLV) (Mark 12:31)
This First Mission of The "Twelve" to the Jews were primarily to prepare the way of the LORD.
And to give his disciples the needed training for their missions to come.
They were not to go unto the Gentiles nor to the Samaritans. Their ministry was limited at that time "...To the lost sheep of the house of Israel." (v. 6) And the massage were the proclamation that "The kingdom of heaven is at hand." (v. 7d)
Jesus would go to his own first. And just like God gave Moses and Aaron the Rod as a sign to deliver the Children of Israel from bondage, (Exodus 4:1-5) he gave his twelve disciples signs also, and they were to "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give." (v. 8) "For the Jews require a sign." (I Cor. 1:22a) And the fact that He limited His number to "Twelve, Seventy, and Eleven" and we know "...That, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once;" (I Cor. 15:6b) tell us that he doesn't give His miracle working power to everyone. (I Cor. 12:27-31), 12:27-31) (MSG)
(From the principle audience the Twelve, to the principle audience the Jews)
The Mission of the Seventy was to enforce the appeal that the LORD had made with the "twelve." The two commissions to the Jews, they closely resemble each other. The twelve were sent into the northern areas, whereas the seventy were sent to the south. Now Jesus' main reason for giving them signs and wonders, was that his audience would believe him for salvation. (v.13) After all, the greatest miracle of all is salvation. And the greatest gift of all is love, (I Corinthians 13) and he love the Jews so, that every time he sent the apostles out, He gave them credentials, Mark 16:20 signs to show that they were sent by Him. (John 20:30-31) Although in Luke's account, he didn't say much about signs, but we can see by (Luke 10:17)(MSG) that he gave them.
But in all of Isaiah, and the quotations form it, the word healing, refer to the spiritual-healing-of-our-souls-(forgiveness). The passage in Isaiah, "And With his strips" (or "wounds") "we are healed" (rapa') to mends or cure) (53:5d) refers to our spiritual condition being made whole. In Isaiah the term is always used of spiritual healing and forgiveness. The "we" in the passage, refer to believers, and we are healed from the penalty of sin and eternal death. Even before his stripes he gave out physical healing, we didn't need it then because we were not there. (Isa. 3:7; 6:10, 19:22, 30:26, 57:18-19, & 58:8) And Jesus showed one of the greatest miracles that is to be shown, that he is the Son of God. When he said, "Lazarus, come forth." (John 11:43c-d) Since he didn't received his glorified body, he would only live to die again.
For people in this life, healing of the body sometimes come slow, or even not at all. And if it does come, it usually doesn't last. For we will never receive compete or eternal healing in this body any way, because "That flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;" (I Cor. 15:50c)
"For it is soon cut off, and we fly away." (Psa, 90:10d-e) But when we come to the next life, we wont need any healing, because, "And there shall be no more death,...neither shall there be any more pain:" (Rev. 21:4b & e)
(From the principle audience the Seventy, to the principle audience the Jews)
This is the Great Commission of The Eleven. And this Commission is extended to the Church. Since we have *The* *Bible* *printed* in it's complete form, in the 1380's AD.* And since we have "The 1611 King James Bible," and now that we have the Holy Word of God, in our own understandable language, not many signs are needed today; (Heb. 2:3-4) but since it is God's will that all will be saved, He will give the signs if needed. This is the same account that we get in (Mark. 16:15-18) When we see something omitted in one of the four Gospels, that tells us that only faith and faith alone is essential for salvation. And as I said, signs and wonders are good and God will give them if needed, but it is a wonder that we are saved--Thank-you-Jesus! And after one is saved and God uses he or she with His gifts, this is good. (I Cor. 12) (NASB)
"{Sentence content can be analyzed by answering four important questions: (a)-what is said? (b) how is it said? (c) to whom is it said? And (d) what is omitted?}" A quote from Henrichsen.
The omitting of "the signs" in Matthew's account, (28:19-20)
tell us that only "faith" not signs is essential for salvation. For good faith do not require a sign. Jesus told "Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." (John 20:29b-f)
(From the principle audience the Eleven, to the Whole World)!
{Before the day of Pentecost came, the believers (audience at the time) were told to "Wait for the promise of the Father, to receive the Holy Ghost. (Acts 1:4c) The believers today are told to "Be not drunk with wine...,but be filled with the Spirit;"}. (Eph. 5:18a & c)
1. Cast out demons (Acts 8:7 NIV; 16:18 WYC;
19:11-16).2. New tongues (Acts 2:4-11 NLT; 10:46 MSG; 19:6).
3. Handle serpents (Acts 28:3-5 CSB).
4. Drink poison without harmful effects-- not recorded in Acts but attributed to John and Barnabas by the church historian Eusebius.
5. Lay hands on the sick for healing (Acts 3:7; 19:11; 2:8, 9
What was the purpose of these miracles? We believe the answer is found in Hebrews 2:3, 4 Before the N T was available in completed form, men would ask the apostles and others for proof that the gospel was divine. To confirm the preaching, God bore witness with signs and wonders and various gifts of the Holy Spirit.
The need for these signs is gone today. We have the complete Bible. If men won't believe that, they wouldn't believe anyway. Mark did not say that the miracles would continue. The words "to the end of the age" are not found here as they are in Matthew 28:18-20.
(Believer's Bible Commentary)
However, Martin Luther suggested that "the signs here spoken of are to be used according to need. When the need arises, and the Gospel is hard pressed. Then we must definitely do these signs, before we allow the Gospel to be maligned and knocked down.

*We must maintain an accountability fellow-ship with a group of people who will exhort us to faith and good works.* (Heb. 3:13)
THAT IS WHY GOD SAID; "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together," (HEB. 10:25a)

 (HEB. 10:25 (MSG)
 "{THE MODEL PRAYER for BELIEVERS}!"

9 "{After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.}* 10 {Thy kingdom come.} {Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.}*
11 {Give us this day our daily bread.}* 12 {And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.}* 13 {And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:} {For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever Amen.}"*
14 "{For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:} 15 {But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.}" (MATTHEW. 6:9-13); & (vv. 14-15)
2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that in indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
{CLICK HERE FOR THE SINNER'S PRAYER}
(In Colossians 3:3) Paul tell all believers that they have died in Christ Jesus when it come to sin, when they first believed. And as for their position or standing, they are secured in him. "Their saved-lives are "...Hid with Christ in God." (v. 3b) That is why Jesus said, "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." (John 10:28) When it comes to the believer's standing or position, (his saved life) it is hid and secure until Christ comes for-him.
For when we received Christ we received justification, (a right-standing-that can't be changed) and glorification, (a glorified-body). Actually we are not glorified as yet, but it is so sure that God can use the past tense in describing-it! This is one of the strongest passages in the NT on the the believer's eternal-security. (Rom. 8:30)
If the believer keep fully armed, his present state will keep-on corresponding with his standing or position. (future-state) That is why Paul tells us to keep-on mortifying (killing) our fleshly desires. So, that we can keep-on-being-a witness-for-Christ.* (Col. 3:5a)
Let us be "A workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."(II Tim. 2:15b-c) If we plant the wrong interpretation in-our-hearts, we will plant the wrong application in-our-lives. Scripture must be supported by Scripture, and that is done by Cross References. The example of a relevant topical cross reference is the use of (2 Peter 1:21) to supplement a discussion of the divine inspiration of Scripture in (2 Timothy 3:16)-(MSG). A good Verbal Cross Reference that is meant to hit home the importance of not trusting in one's own righteousness is (Proverbs 14:12) with (ch. 16:25)-(TLB)
An example of the irrelevant use of the topical cross references is where (1 Corinthians 2:9) is use to supplement a discussion of heaven in (Revelation 21-22)
By God's Spirit man is "drawn" (John 6:44b) to Christ and is "born again." (Ch. 3:3e) And at that very moment, he or she is "baptized into one body." (I Cor. 12:13a)-(NIV) (baptized in the Holy Spirit, and is placed in the church)
And then, he is told to by his or her own effort to keep Regular devotions so they can "ever be filled and stimulated with the [Holy] Spirit." (stay filled with the Holy Spirit-for-ministry)-(Eph. 5:18c)-(AMP) Now remember this, "and there is one Spirit." (Ch. 4:4b)
{The passage in II Corinthians 3:6} will take some looking into to interpreted it. Which reads like this, "Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life." Illustration:
This ministry of the "letter" that killeth is illustrated in the 3,000 killed at Sinai, at the inauguration of the Old Covenant; (Ex. 32:28b) and the ministry of the Spirit, the life giving ministry, is illustrated in the 3,000 saved on the day of Pentecost. (Acts 2:41b) (Gal. 3:10)-(J. M. Davies)

*The good part of Being "born again," (John 3:3e)
  (1) *{Positional or Standing Sanctification}* (I Cor. 6:11):
 (2) *{Progressive or Practically Sanctification}* (Rom. 6:12-23 (CJB):
   (3) *{Perfect or Final Sanctification}* (I Thess. 3:13) (WYC):
Now it is a comfort for the Church to know that Christ had sealed her forever, when He purchased it with his own blood. It were if He purchased His own present, to keep it safe and secure, to present it to himself. And I exhort that presently the Church would do herself good to cleanse herself by the word day by day, so that more good than bad be seen, and so that we will "Be not ashamed before him at his coming."* (at the judgment seat of Christ)(I John 2:28f-g) Again, this begins when that same person gets to heaven; when he "...Shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." (I John 3:2f-g) Now when he stated "..That he might sanctify and cleanse it..." He is speaking of the Church collectedly, and he done it at the Cross. Thank be to God that we are included! Now seeing that the Sin-Nature will not be eradicated until we receive our glorified-bodies, then we will be sinless: spotless, and no more wrinkle, no more blemish. When our present state would have corresponded with our perfect state when we will "Not have spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing," (27b-d) but we will have perfect holiness! (a) (Eph. 5:26-27) (b) (I Cor. 15:50) He is going "...To present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:"* (Col. 1:22b) Again, the Church was cleaned collectedly, when it "...Trusted"...him for his work on the Cross. (Eph. 1:13a)
  (Now we have the three) (P's) : *{Positional}*, *{Practically},* and *{Perfect Righteousness}.*
(1-P) We were positioned in Christ when we was "Justified by faith," and we "stand" in his Righteousness. (Rom. 5:1a & 2a) (p)(2-P) For not being "Unskillful in the word of righteousness:" we practice God's Righteousness. Heb. (5:13a) (3-P) "For we through the Spirit wait for" his Perfect Righteousness." (Gal. 5:5)-(CJB)
A. The first piece of the Soldiers "Armor" mentioned, is the belt of *truth.* The belt of *truth* is what holds the rest of the "Armor" together. Certainly we must be faithful in holding the *truth* of *God's* word, but it is also necessary for the *truth* to hold us: for one need to be *true* to {himself}, before he can be *true* to {someone-else}, and he must apply it to his daily live. You are using this piece of the armor when you refuse to tell liars. Jesus said, "For he is a liar, (the devil that is,) and the father of it." (Matt. (John 8:44)
The *truth* is hard for a unrighteous man to tell. Pilate, himself asked Jesus, "What is truth?" (John 18:38b) And as we test everything by the *truth,* we find strength and protection in this combat.
We should say with all our heart, "I will tell the *truth,* for I know that it will not hurt-me." Also we should say, "I will see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, and with your help my *God,* I will do no evil." In this way, "And ye shall Know the *truth,* and the *truth* shall make you free." (John 8:32)
  (Psalms 91:4c) (91:4c) (MSG) B. Every believer
is clothed with the "...*Righteousness* of *God..."* (2 Cor. 5:21c)
II. THANK *GOD* FOR HIS *{BREASTPLATE}* OF

   (RIGHTEOUSNESS)
  C. The third piece of the Soldier's "Armor" is the boots, *(peace),* the soldier must have his "...Feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of *peace;"* (Eph. 6:15) You are using this piece of the armor when you have refused to let the weapons of war hit through to the loins and heart. This suggests a readiness to go out with the good news of *peace,* and therefore an invasion into enemy territory. Now the enemy will do every-thing he can to stop you, because he know for one to win a soul for God, is to lose a soul for him. That's why the saint will need to be "Prayed-up," to keep the enemy-out-side of the armor, so he will go-on-rejoicing and walking up-on that mountain, "Publishing salvation)." (I Thess. 2:19-20) But when we relax in our tents, we are in deadly peril. Our safety is to be found in following the beautiful feet of the savior on the mountains, "...Bringeth good tidings, that publishing *peace;"* (Is. 52:7a-b).
(Rom. 10:15).
D. The fourth piece of the Soldier's "Armor," is the shield, *(faith);* In addition, the soldier, (saint), must take the shield of *faith* so that when the fiery darts of the "Wicked one," come zooming at him, they will hit the shield and fall harmlessly to the ground. You are using the shield of *faith* when you are "...Skillful in the word of *righteousness:"* (Heb. 5:13a) and when you "...have" your "senses exercised to discern both good and evil," (v. 14b) then you can do what Jesus done, move the shield where-ever-you-will. *Faith* here is firm confidence in the Lord and in his word. When temptations burn, when circumstances are adverse, when doubts assail, when shipwreck threatens, *faith* looks up and says, "I believe God." (Heb. 11:1-40) (11:1-40 (BBE)
E. The fifth piece of the Soldier's "Armor" is the *"...The helmet, of salvation." (Eph. 6:17a) In the scripture, salvation is seen in three ways. (1). {The Positional Salvation}: first, he has the spiritual-salvation-forever and he is the delivered from the Penalty of sin, and Eternal Death. For "By his one sacrifice he has forever set free from sin the people he bring to God." (Heb. 10:14)(CEV) The person's soul-is-saved and his "...Life is hid with Christ in God." (Col. 3:3) (2). {The Practical or Progressive Salvation}: he has the working-progressing-salvation in him, and the "armor" to keep him from all spiritual attacks from the enemy so that he can "...Grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." (II Pet. 3:18a-b) And it will keep him from body harm while in the world. Moses told the Israelis to "Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD,...") Ex. 14:13b-d (3) And {Perfect SALVATION or final Deliverance}: (he will have the perfect-salvation when he gets to heaven. And then shall The Church be in it's perfect state, when Christ shall "...Present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing;" And then, it will "be holy and without blemish." (Eph. 5:27)
No matter how hot the battle, the Christian is not daunted (afraid), since he knows that ultimate victory is sure. Assurance of eventual deliverance preserves him from retreat or surrender. "If *God* be for us, who can be against us?" (Rom. 8:31b-c). This is a good prayer to pray, when and before hand-to-hand combat with Satan, the enemy, when using the "Sword", (The-WORD-Eph. 6:17c) and the Shield, (FAITH v. 16a,b), and The Spear, (PRAYER-v. 18a). LORD, teach me how to use your "Armor" so that I am not wounded by the enemy's weapons of war.
Just like David went for the (1) "head of Goliath," (I Sam. 17:49) and Peter went for the (2) "head of Malchus the soldier," (John 18:10) the Devil goes for the (3) "Helmet of salvation," (Eph. 6:17)-(NIV) of the believer first.
F. The sixth piece of the Soldier's "Armor," is the "sword," *(word)* in addition, the soldier, (saint), takes the "sword," of the Spirit; (notice),
If you take a-way the (s), from the word, "Sword," all you have left is the *Word.* (2 Cor. 10:4) The classic illustration of this is our Lord's use of this "sword" in his encounter with Satan. Three times He quoted the *word* of *God,* not just random verses, but the appropriate
verses which the Holy Spirit gave him for that occasion. (Luke 4:1-13).
(LUKE 4:1-13 (MSG) Now if you don't know the *word,*, how can you by the Holy Spirit, recall the *word,* when face to face with Satan. I am using the "Sword, when I use "Thy word have I hid" (memorized) in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." (Psa. 119:11)
The *word* of *God* here does not mean the whole bible, but the particular portion of the bible which best suits the occasion. Remember it was by the repeated "sword" thrusts of God's *word* that Jesus overcame his adversary in the wilderness.
*Prayer* is the atmosphere in which we must live and breathe. It is the Spirit in which we must put on the whole armor and face the foe. *Prayer* should be continual, not sporadic; a habit, not an isolated act. The saint should use all kinds of *prayer;* public and private; deliberate and spontaneous; supplication and intercession; confession and humiliation; praise and thanksgiving. And if he or she really want to bring pleasure to *God,* let them worship him.
(Eph. 6:18) Our *prayer* should be to the Lord, who is, "Alive and well!" And we should *"pray* without ceasing." (So after the *prayer* meeting is over, keep your spirit *praying)* (I Cor. 14:14a-b) (1 Thess. 5:17) And send the Spear, *{prayer}* and it will hit it's target!!! (Psalms 107:20) (Is. 55:10-11) (AMP) (Matt. 8:8) (A). Hello, Dear *God;* my very best friend, and the Lover of my soul! (Song 2:3) I don't need to ask-you, "How are you doing today," Because I know that, *"God* is not dead," but "He is alive and well!"
It is for-me, O LORD, yes, it is for-me, that I am writing to you about. First, Dear *God,* I thank-you for sending your Blessed Son, Jesus Christ to redeem fallen mankind, and for drawing-me to-Him, through your Holy-Spirit, and I am also glad that I have received-Him into my heart. (John 6:44) And LORD, I know that you have forgiven my sin (my evil-nature) forever!* (Heb. 10:10) And now LORD, forgive me for the wrongs (sins) (my evil-deeds) that I may do day by day. (I John 1:9) And I thank you Dear *God,* for my family, and for protecting us. For I know that "The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them." (Psa. 34:7) And now *God,* when I am in hand-to-hand combat with Satan, the enemy, that old serpent, teach me how to use your ..."Shield of faith," (Eph. 6:16b) "And the sword of the Spirit," (v. 17b) so I am not wounded by his evil weapons of war. And LORD, I know I can't be like Paul and Salas when they were here on earth, neither am I trying to do what he or she do, while I am here on earth, but I do want to do what Enoch did when he was here on earth, for "Enoch walked with God;" (Gen. 5:24a)-(NLT) And LORD *God,* like Solomon, my LORD and my *God,* I am not asking you for riches, (materialism, wealth or fame), but I am asking you for wisdom and knowledge, so that I may know how to serve you-better, and to be a servant-to others. (2 Chr. 1:10-11 (NLT) And LORD, I have confidence in my prayer, because I know that "The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous." (Prov. 15:29) And now LORD, as I speak with you in prayer, I know that, "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the LORD will not hear me." (Psa. 66:18) So now LORD, forgive-me of all-my-sins. (commission/omission), For David had said, "BLESSED is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered." (Psa. 32:1) And now LORD, {LISTEN-TO-ME!} My *God,* and my Savior. (FOR-ALL-I-HAVE-LEFT-IS-PRAYER, *AND IF I WILL REMEMBER ANYTHING TODAY, I WILL REMEMBER TO PRAY.* AND-IN-YOUR-WORD-YOU-SAID-IT). "As the rain and snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." ( Isa. 55:10-11 (NLV) So LORD, deliver-me from disobedience and selfish motives and put your fear in my heart, that I sin not. And, "BOW down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy." (Psa. 86:1) And now Master, "Help me, O LORD my *God:* O save me according to thy mercy:" (Psa. 109:26) And LORD, help-me-to Let my "...Speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that" I "may know how" I "ought to answer every man."* (Col. 4:6) Yes LORD, "Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips." (Psa. 141:3) And LORD, In my vocabulary, help me to use less of, "I" "I" and more of "You" "You;" for, (this is known as the six deadly "I"'s). (Luke 12:17-19) Because, "AS for me, I will call upon *God:* and the Lord shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice." (Psa. 55:16-17) And Lord, I know that, "Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity:" (Hab. 1:13a-b) So cleanse me Lord, your servant, and make me pure though your Holy word. And, "O LORD, correct me, but with judgment;" (justice) "not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing." * (Jer. 10:24) And O LORD, "In wrath remember mercy." (Hab. 3:2g) For I read in your Holy word that, "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times." (Psa. 12:6) And Lord, like David, "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me." (Psa. 51:5) And now Lord, and my God, "Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. (Psa. 51:7) And "Create in me a clean heart, O *God;* and renew a right spirit within me." (Psa. 51:10) Then, Dear *God,* I want to know, how to hear from you? (B). *God's* answer, "You can read my Holy word." (Heb. 1:1-2 (ISV)Yes LORD, I know that your word is tried and true, Dear *God,* and that your words will wash my heart clean, like any fullers' soap. (if I let it) (Eph. 5:26) So now Lord, "Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law." (Psa. 119:18 (NIV) A verse comes to mind. "Now we know that *God* heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshiper of *God,* and doeth his will, him he heareth." (John 9:31) And now *God* you have promised in your Holy word, "For I am the LORD that healeth thee." (Ex. 15:26h) But LORD, I know that "...If our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of *God,* an house not made with hands, eternal in the heaven." (2 Cor. 5:1) (C). So LORD while I am on this side, "Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. (Jer."* 17:14) (D). Oh yes, Dear *God,*
how may I worship you? *God's* answer, "I sent my Son down to the lower parts of the earth, (the earth goes (600) miles upward),
to explain this, so listen to him." *"God* is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in truth." (John 4:24) (4:24 DLNT) (E). Yes, Dear *God,* Yes, Alleluia Dear *God!* Yes, I know that to worship you is a choice, and like Mary "...Hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." (Luke 10:42b-c) I will choose that part also,
and I will worship you! I will praise you!! and I will always give you Thanks!!!
I can see more clearly now! You spoke of knowing your will, and doing your will, is to obey your Son Jesus Christ. For Jesus said earlier in the text, that-a-man should be born-again. I will read it now.
"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, "Except a man be born-again, he cannot see the kingdom of *God."* (John 3:3)
(G). In closing, Dear *God,* the Lover of our soul! we close our letter but not our prayers; and now, Brothers and Sisters, we know that "When he shall appear. we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." (1 John 3:2e-g) So God, until then, sooner or later, we know that in peace, we shall see you face-to-face.
                             From your sons (daughters),
To you, our *God,* and (Brother), your Son, Jesus Christ.
*{Although, eternal life is guaranteed at the {moment of conversion},* (John 14:16c) and *{maturity is attainable},* (Heb. 5:14) but the road to perfection is a *{life-time-journey}.* *{Heb. 6:1a & b}*
[ILLUSTRATION-I] {The will of the Father is that every-one who is} given to His Son Jesus Christ, would be saved and kept until the resurrection of the just. When they would be raised-up; some of us will be alive and "...Meet the LORD in the air,..." (I Thess. 4:17b) and taken home to heaven. Here is what *God* is saying to his Son, in (John 6:39), (the power-verse). I will send them to You, (by my Spirit), (v. 44a-b) Jesus said, "...And I will raise him up at the last day."(v. 44c) (The Rapture) Since the Father's will is that no-one who comes to His Son be lost, and His Son came to do His Father's will, (v. 38c) then, it is the Son's responsibility to see that not one of them that was sent to Him by His Father, would be lost!* The words NOTHING and IT refer to believers. Here he was thinking not of individual believers, but of the entire body of Christians who would be saved down through the years. The Lord Jesus was responsible to see that not one {member of the body (that once came to him, and that will come to him) would be lost, but that the whole body would be RAISED UP AT THE LAST DAY.} (1 Cor. 15:51-52 (HCSB)
[ILLUSTRATION-II] {As for as Christians are concerned, THE LAST DAY} refers to the DAY when the Lord Jesus will come in the air, when the dead in Christ will rise first, (1 Thess. 4:16d) when the living believers will be changed, and when all will be caught-up to meet the Lord in the air, to {be for ever with the Lord. To the Jews it meant the coming of the} Messiah in glory!
[THE WORDS OF CHRIST-III] {"For I came down from heaven, not to do} mine own will, but the will, of him that sent me.* And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing," (none of them, *God* did not tell us to hold Jesus' hand, for we would-soon let-go. But He told Jesus His Son, to hold our hands, For He will-never let-go)! "but should raise it" (the church) "up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every-one which seeth the Son," (with the eyes of faith) "and believeth on him," (be born-again) "may have everlasting-life:" (then and there, he or she, will be {locked-in-for-ever) "and I will raise him up at the last day.} (John 6:38-40)

{F. The lust of the flesh}. "And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food,..." (Gen. 3:6a)
The Devil told Jesus the same. (Matt. 4:3) but Jesus quoted to him from (Deut. 8:3f)
{E. The lust of the eyes}. "...And that it was pleasant to the eyes,..." (Gen. 3:6b)
The Devil told Jesus the same. (Matt. 4:8-9) Again Jesus quoted to him from (Deut. 6:13)
{p. The pride of life}. "...And a tree desired to make one wise,... (Gen. 3:6c)
The Devil told Jesus the same. (Matt. 4:5-7) Again Jesus quoted from (Deut. 6:16a)
There was a time when Lucifer was in heaven with *God, *but because of his character, and that he is a "liar" and was from the beginning, he got lifted-up in pride by using too many "I" 's five, that is, but when he said "I will be like the most High" (v. 14b) *God* kicked him out of heaven! (Isa. 14:13-15) Note: how he used the same words to Eve, "...And you shall be as gods,..." (Gen. 3:5c) The first sin/curse after the creation, is disobedience. Because they eat of the forbidden-tree. "...She took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat." (Gen. 3:6d-g)
The first sin/curse after the flood, is gossip. Because, Canaan "...Saw the nakedness of his father, and told his brethren without."* (Gen. 9:22c-d)
A note on this is, that *God* said, "...And they shall be one flesh." (Gen. 2:24c)
{Permanent principles are changeless, while applications are changing}.
The first Permanent principle to man (the audience). (1) God told them, "I have given you every herb bearing seed." (Gen. 1:29c) Before the Flood, neither humans nor animals were permitted to eat meat. (2) After the Flood, God changed the application, and said unto Noah, the audience at that time, "Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you. (9:3a) Here, man could add meat to his table, but not with the blood. (3) The application will soon change for meat eating for the people. At that time the people (audience) had to read (Lev. 11:1-23) (NIV), to find out what kind of meats they could, and could not eat. However, the audience to day which is us, can eat "Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, (meats) (I Cor. 10:25a) (4) At the day of Pentecost, a great and important permanent principle was made, but the application has changed. The hundred and twenty that "Were all filled with the Holly Ghost," (Acts 2:4a) received what had been promised in (John 7:38-39a) (AMP). The application of this changed after the completion of the Bible and the Church was set up. Now, the scripture says, "He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." (v. 38-39a)
 (V. 4)-(GW) I (The Lion is Babylon-King-Nebuchadnezzar). (V. 5) II (The Bear is Medo-Persia-King-(Cyrus, Darius) (V. 6) III (The Leopard is Greece-(Alexander-the-Great)-(336-323 B. C.) Alexander-the-Great, and the Jews would get alone find, but he lived a short life, and with no heir old enough to rule, his relatives took over. And after a while, the Jews were taxed heavily and forced to worship Greek-gods. And because
the Israelites would not "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy" when they could, they were forced by the Seleucids, under Antiochus-rule, not to keep-it when they would. (Ex. 20:8)
Also note: Satan knows The Word, and he doesn't need to misquote-it nor try to get us to, because he was on the earth before we was. (Rev. 12:9f) He seeks to get us to misuse and misrepresent-it. And he will try to get us to sin by, "Omission and addition" I will comment on "addition" (saying more than the bible says. Eve used "addition" by saying that *God* said, "...Neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die." (Gen. 3:3d-e) And by twisting the scripture, making it say more than it, in fact, says. Usually the motive is a desire to make *God's* command unreasonable and hard to obey. (to apply application) (James 1:22) And to water-down the seriousness-of-the-word; by saying, "You won't die!" "the serpent replied to the woman." (hissed to the woman) If (since), God is not the author of confusion, certainly, the devil is. (Gen. 3:4 (NLT) (1 John 2:16 (NIV)
(I) *God* started it all with His Spirit. "And the Spirit of *God* moved upon the face of the waters."* (here, He didn't used the aid of man) (Gen. 1:2d) (II) *God's* Spirit, through Noah, preached to the lost souls before the flood. They are now awaiting for the final judgment. (here, He did used the aid of man, Noah) (1 Pet. 3:19) (III) And if we look at the immediate, intermediate, and the remote contexts, we will see that the sixth word that Jesus uttered on the cross, "...It is finished:..." (John 19:30c) tells us that He didn't need to go to Hades to preach to the lost souls in prison. And by His own words, "...Father, into thy hands I commend my Spirit:..." (Luke 23:46c-d)
Philipp Jakob Spener, known often as the father of pietism, in A. D. 1666 Spener offered six proposals for reform in Pia Desideria which became a short summary of pietism. He said, "The Bible must be the chief means for reforming something."
(V. 7)-(MEV) IV (The fourth dreadful-Beast With iron-teeth is the Roman Empire)-(the ten horns represent ruler-ship, (Kings that will rise to power in stages), and the little-horn will be better known in the Tribulation-Period.) {This Beast with iron like teeth}{Movie-1} {Movie-2} will continue on until the Ancient of days. {Movie-3}
(V. 22) V The fifth and final Empire, is Christ's return, (the Ancient of Days). Now the Roman Empire will continue a considerable space of time, and cease, but will revived. The ten horns are ten kings,-the little horn, (the Antichrist) would rule until Christ's return. (The Ancient of Days)
  A. The first *crown* mention in biblical order, is the soul winner's *crown,* (the *crown of rejoicing*). "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the of life." (James 1:12a-c) At "The judgment seat of Christ," no one will be lost. And at this judgment, you see, everyone's cup will be full in heaven, but people will have different sized cups. (Matt. 25:16-17), (20-23) If we make a special effort to win others
to the Lord, and be the witness we were told to be in the book of (Acts. 1:8) and be determine that our labor will be more than , "...(Wood), (hay), (stubble);" we will shoot for the top! And produce, "{Gold}! {Silver}! {Precious-stones}!" (1 Cor. 3:12) Then we will, {Live Christ}! {Give Christ}! {Eat Christ}! (Jonh 6:54)
{Sleep Christ}! {Walk Christ}! and {Talk Christ}! to win souls for the kingdom of God, so that we will receive "The *Crown of rejoicing.*" (1 Thess. 2:19 NJV) (2:19) (WYC)

  II. {THE *CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS*}!

2>
 B. The next *crown* mention after the "Soul winner's *crown,"* is "A "*crown* of righteousness,..." (2 Tim. 4:8a) (4:8 NCV) This *crown* will be given to Christians. (Christ-like-persons) All believers will be at this judgment, but all Christians will not receive this *crown.* Because, As the apostle Paul points out, "I press toward the mark" (the finish-line, at the Judgment Seat of Christ) "for the prize" (the award presented to the Believer that ran well, the Crown of righteousness) "of the high calling of *God* in Christ Jesus.”* Phil. 3:14 So, if a person gets saved at an, "Early age," and do not follow through, (live in fellowship with *God,* and other believers, and did not live a testimony to the world); he or she will suffer a great loss! 1 Cor. 3:15 (KJV) 1 Cor. 3:15 (NLT) The Lord here, is spoken of as the righteous Judge; 2 Tim. 4:8c (someone who never makes a wrong call). And unlike the earthly judges, (who work with accumulated knowledge, something learned, and limited), He will have full and complete knowledge, He will not show respect of person, He will evaluate motives as well as deeds, and His judgment will be accurate and impartial. "The *crown of righteousness*" will be given to all those who have loved Christ appearing, (who made-up-their-minds-to follow after charity, (love-first), and to desire spiritual gifts, second 1 Cor. 14:1 (prophesy=witnessing etc.). It takes a unspotted life to do that! James 1:27 (CEV)

  III. {*THE *CROWN OF LIFE*}!

3>
 C. The *crown of life* is the next one mention in biblical order, and like the *crown* of righteousness, it is given to all them that love his appearing. "The *crown of life*" is also given to them that love their neighbor. James 1:12 (MSG) James here states that the saint who stands up under afflictions, (holy-trials-from-God-designed-to-bring-out-the-best-in-us), "He shall receive "The *crown of life."* James 1:2-12 We should never become despondent or discourage when passing through holy trials. No problem is too great for our Father. Some problems and afflictions in-this-life are never removed; even some of the prayers of believers, are never answered in the fashion in which they would want them to-be-answered. We must learn to accept them and to prove His grace sufficient. 2 Cor. 12:8-10 Unlike unholy temptations, which comes from with-in, and which lead to sin (that are designed to bring out the worst-in-us). James 1:13-17 (WE) And if we fall under unholy temptations, we will receive eternal life, but will be like a man that, "...Light a candle, and put it under a bushel,..." Matt. 5:15a-b
Our first Pass-over-Lamb (Martyr) was Jesus Christ. (Matt.27:35) Faithful Williams Tyndale's first Edition of the Bible to be printed in English in 1525-26, would lead to him being strangled and burned at the stake in 1536.
 D. "The *crown of glory"* is next to the last one mention, but certainly, it's not the least. This *crown’s* name means (WEALTH), Gen. 31:1d and the word, "Glory," is mention in scripture 441 times. 31:1d (KJ21)
  (1) Our first Pass-over-Lamb (Martyr) was Jesus Christ. (Matt.27:35) E. And you shall receive a crown of life, a special crown for martyrs. "Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life." (Rev. 2:10)

(2) The faithful servant of God Stephen, would soon follow after, and He also will receive "The Martyr's Crown." (Act. 7:60)
(3) Not long after that, our Apostle Paul would walk down that same road, "He too will receive "The Martyr's Crown." (2 Tim. 4:6-8)
(4) And Herod, "He killed James" the servant of God "the brother of John with the sword," He also will receive "The Martyr's Crown." (Act. 12:2)
(5) And not to mention Peter (who would be crucified up side down) and many more believing Jews that will also receive "The Martyr's Crown."

Now all this awaits the people of *God.* Do you want to get into the family of *God?* You can by receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Will you pray this prayer, to receive Jesus into your heart right-now?

"Dear Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. Forgive me now Lord! I know it was my sin that sent you to the cross. You took the punishment in my place. Thank you for sacrificing Your life for mine. Thank you for saving me from death and giving me eternal life. Help me to live each day in the knowledge of your death and resurrection, forgiven and eager to honor You. Amen." John 3:3

"Jesús querido de la fuente, confieso que soy un sinner en necesidad de un salvador. ¡Perdóneme ahora el señor! Sé que era mi pecado que le envió a la cruz. Usted tomó el castigo en mi lugar. Gracias por sacrificar su vida para la mía. Gracias por el ahorro yo de muerte y de darme vida eterna. Ayúdeme a vivir cada día en el conocimiento de su muerte y resurrection, perdonado e impaciente honrarle Amen." Juan 3:3

(v. 2) John Wesley's Explanatory Notes "They chose only by the eye:" The fact that only eight people went into the ark tells me that both men and women, chose only with the eye. (I John 2:16)
Some think that the sons of God here refer to angels, but Jesus himself said that "They neither marry, nor are given in marriage;" (Mark 12:25b,c)
} *(III) (v. 3) {"My spirit shall not always strive with man."(Gen. 6:3b)
The hundred and twenty years do not mean the age of man's life span. For Jehoiada the priest was "an hundred and thirty years old when he died." (II Chron. 24:15c) and what if after God had made this promise, (before the flood) that some one was born ten years later, then he or she would had been only 110 years old.}No, but the LORD "is longsuffering to us-word, not willing that any should perish." (II Peter 3:9c-d) Note also, "My Spirit must not forever be disgraced in man, wholly evil as he is. I will give him 120 years to mend his ways." T. L. B.

*{THE *THREE *JUDGMENTS}* ***{TO-HOME*-*PAGE}***
{A note on judgment}(1) THIS IS THE JUDGMENT of all believers, and it will take place in heaven. Now the rapture of the church is the next event on the prophetic calendar of God. This is the catching away of the Church, Christ bride. (I Thess. 4:16-17) As I said earlier, "The Second Coming," will be in two phases, in the first phase, His feet will not touch the earth, but in the second phase, which is His "Second Coming," He will touch the earth, "And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives,..." (Zech. 14:4a) In His first phase, he will come for his saints. In His second coming, Christ will come with all his saints. (I Thess. 3:13)
In this event He will do what His disciples thought that He would do when they first laid their eyes upon Him, they thought that *He would set-up His,* *"Kingdom and reign as King"!* (Isa. 32:1)
And we shall come-back with him, "And shall reign with him a thousand years." (Rev. 20:6d) At this first judgment, (before the Great-tribulation-period), God will catch away His peoples in the air, and we will be evaluated. It is a time of review, reward and cleansing for believers only, (I Cor. 3:11-15) (someone who had at sometime in his or her life-time, have received Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior, ("Born-again") (John 3:3) they will be there,"That every one may receive the things done in his body," (after that he were born again) "according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."* (2 Cor. 5:10b-d) This will take place after the Rapture, (he will be-judged and rewarded according to his works. He will not be-saved according to his works; you don't need to do anything to get to heaven, after that you have received salvation, (Eph. 2:8-9)"But you do need to do something to receive rewards, after you get to heaven." (v. 10) Because Alleluia! At this judgment, no one will be lost! (Rom. 14;10; (1 Cor. 3:11-15)
(2) This is the judgment of the Nations; or Gentiles, (the Greek word can mean either), and it takes place on earth, (after the tribulation-period), when Jesus Christ comes to reign. (Matt. 25:31) These are the saved virgins of the Great Tribulation, they had The Oil of the Holy Spirit dwelling in them. (v. 4)
In I Thessalonians 4:16-17 He comes in the clouds for the church; in II Thessalonians 2:7 He comes to the earth with the church to judge the world. The nations will be judged according to their treatment of Christ's Jewish brethren during the tribulation-period. (Joel 3:1-4, and vv. 12-14) Matt.25:31-46) Here, He is not speaking of the New Testament saints, that will mean that they are saved by their works, then the question will-arise, how much? He is speaking of His physical brethren, the Jews. That is why Jesus will say, "...Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me" ." (Matthew 25:40c-d). Three classes are mentioned,-the-sheep are Christ's brethren, and the goats, are the lose in the Tribulation, and all these, except the goats, will reign with Christ: the Tribulation saints, (Christ brethren the sheep). "...And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years." (Rev. 20:4j) But at this judgment, someone will be lost! {MORE ON ISAREL}"The*marriage*supper*of*the*Lamb: (Rev. 19:7c) represents the millennial kingdom of Christ, which takes place on earth following the return of Christ (20:4; cf. Luke 14:15-24)" (NIV). (The Church is unique, unlike the "Invited guest," Israel and The Five Wise Virgins, (Matt. 25:1-13) who will be on earth when we "The Church" come back with Christ). "The Jewish marriage consisted of three major elements: (1) the betrothal; (John 3:3), (Rom. 10:9-10 NIV) (2) the presentation; (Rev. 19:7-9, CJB) and (3) the marriage feast (supper). vv. 11-14. (cf. Jer. 31:31-34; (Zech. 12:10; (Zech. 13:9 NLT) (Rom. 11:25-27; Matt. 25:1-13 Figuratively, with reference to the church, (1) the betrothal takes place on earth during the church age;" (each person needs to repent, and be born again to fit in with the church). "(2) the presentation will take place in heaven following the Rapture (cf. Rev. 19:7)-(MSG); and (3) the marriage feast will take place on earth following Christ's return with the church (cf. Rev. 19 vv. 11-14)-(NLT).
The "Fine linen, clean and white:" represents "the righteousness of saints." (the church) (v. 8) Now the church has been judged and purified at the judgment seat of Christ. (cf. I Cor. 3:12-15; II Cor. 5:10)-(WYC).
Called: Those who are invited to the marriage supper are Israel, who will turn to Christ in faith during the Tribulation (cf. Jer. 31:31-34; Rom. 11:25-29)." {More on The Supper}Annotations: from The King James Study Bible.
(3) This judgment takes place in eternity, after the Millennium. *God's* Enemy the Devil, has always been an imitator of *God.* And he will prove-it in his final attempt to defeat *God* and His peoples. (Rev. 20:7, 8) Satan will use his unholy trinity, "(Satan+ the Antichrist+ the False Prophet)," to defeat *God's* plan, [But] *God's* Holy Trinity, "{The Father,* The Son,* and The Holy Ghost}," has never been, and never will be, defeated! (Rev. 20:9)
The wicked dead will be judged and "...Cast into the lake of fire and brimstone,..." (v. 10a) This is the second death. Two sets of books are opened. The book of life contains the names of all who have been redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. The other book contain a detailed record of the unsaved. No one who appears at this judgment is registered in the book of life. The fact that his name is missing condemns him, but the record of his evil works determines the degrees of his punishment. Just as there will be degrees of rewards in heaven, so there will be degrees of punishment in hell. This will be based on their works. So, don't close your eyes to sleep, and wake-up dead at this judgment, (in sin, not born again), because at this judgment, everyone will be lost! (Rev. 20:11-15) Unless, you [click-here, and ask Jesus Christ into your heart now!]More on "The*marriage*supper*of*the*Lamb:
That is why he said, "O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? (Rom. 7:24) The thing that Paul complains of is a body of {death}; either the body of the {flesh}, which is a {mortal dying body}, (1 Cor. 15:53-54)
or the {body of sin}, the corrupt nature, which tends to death. "It was as troublesome to Paul as if he had a dead body tied to him." A quote from {The Matthew Henry Commentary}. This made him cry-out, "O wretched man that I am!" (Rom. 8:24a) In Romans 6 and 7 we see the believer-in-sin, (given-in-to-the-sin-nature) but in Rom. 8 we see his-deliverance; only if he will "Walk...after the Spirit" (v. 1c)Here is a massage from *God* to the unbeliever. "Awake thou that sleepest," (receive Jesus Christ), "and arise from the dead," (be born again) "and Christ shall give thee light." (salvation) (Eph. 5:14) And to the believer He said, "See then that you walk circumspectly," (very carefully) "not as fools," (unbelievers) "but as wise," (true believers) (v. 15) "Redeeming the time," (not wasting-time) "because the days" (times) "are evil." (v. 16) "Wherefore be you not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is."And be not drunk with wine," (the cares of this world) "wherein is excess," (being filled with it) "but be filled with Spirit; Speaking to yourselves" (building-up yourselves) "in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;" "Submitting yourselves one to another in fear of *God." (vv. 17-21)
The world's first deliverance (salvation) came, from *God* the {Father}, (in-the-ARK) through the-flood. (Gen. 8:11) But few received-it, but those that received-it,
"...The LORD-shut him in." (Gen. 7:16d) The second deliverance (salvation) came from *God* through Moses, when he led his Chosen People out of Egypt. (Ex. 3:8-10) The third deliverance (salvation) came, through Jesus Christ, the {Son of *God*}. at Calvary. (on-the-Cross) (Matt. 19:30) The thief that was on the cross received-him, right-then and there. Will you receive-Him now? (Luke 23:43) The third deliverance (salvation) came, historically, on the day of {Pentecost}. (Through the-Holy-Spirit-which-seals-every-person who comes to Christ, and gives him power for service and continual-deliverance "...Unto the day of redemption)." (Eph. 4:30b) (Acts 2:1-4)-(MSG) Born-again-believers-are-filled-with-The-Holy-Spirit-at-birth, (Rom. 8:9d-e) and they are told to stay filled-with-him, as we read in the text earlier. While the disciples were told to (A) wait (tarry), in Jerusalem (B) a few-days, for the promised of the, (C) Holy-Spirit, (Acts 1:5) (NIV) whosoever receives the new birth, receives the (A) same Holy Spirit, (B) the same-day, and (C) where-ever he or she may-be! (John 3:6b) But keep in mind, that the believers' final deliverance will be, when *God* takes them home. (Rom. 8:21) (to-heaven-unblemished) (Eph. 5:27) In (Ephesians 5:19) the believer is speaking power into his life by feeding-on the powerful words of *God,* getting himself ready for ministry. In (Colossians 3:16) he or she is speaking power into the lives of others, by uttering the {powerful words of *{truth},* being a witness for the LORD. As Christians, We should always keep in mind that while in this mortal body, we will have struggels (our sinful nature, that is, it won't leave-until we-leave). (1 Cor. 15:52e-f) we will have problems, even with the everlasting Spirit of Christ* dwelling in us for ever, but they wont last for ever, for Christ had said, "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever."* (John 14:16) (That is why relationship with *God* is for ever, but fellowship can be temporary.
It is hard to discuss the struggles we Christians have in the {flesh}, with-out-including the scripture. "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: So that you cannot do the things that you would," (Gal. 5:16-17) (with-out consequences).
Now you heard the phrase, "I had lost my joy," you also lost your close "Fellowship" with *God.* (1 John 1:6) (NASB) Because, when a believer chooses to walk in the flesh, by not walking the Spirit, the rest of the "Fruit of the Spirit" is also weaken: his fellowship with *God,* and his fellowship with other believers are temporary broken, or severely weaken. Now children of the Father, (*God*) can ask their Father, (*God*) for forgiveness: (1 John 1:9) fellowship returns, "Joy is found," (v. 7) and the "Fruit" is strengthen. The word "Fellowship" is mention in scripture sixteen times: two times in the OT and fourteen times in the NT.
Now the word relationship is not mention in scripture, but it is implied With words like: "The sons of *God,"* (daughters) (Phi. 2:15b) the children of *God."* (Rom. 8:16) and "the family of *God."* (Jer. 31:1)

{SPIRITUAL-DEATH/PHYSICAL-DEATH/ETERNAL-DEATH}
Spiritual or mental death is filling the mind with pleasure and not with God. "But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth." (1 Tim. 5:6) "If your sinful nature controls your mind, there is death." (Rom. 8:6a-b) (NLT) (BELIEVER) To the unbeliever he said, "Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light." (Eph. 5:14) (2:1) (UNBELIEVER) (PHYSICAL-DEATH IS BEING A MARTYR FOR CHRIST, OR) To keep on sinning after one receives salvation. (BELIEVER) (a) (Acts 7:59), (b) (1 Cor. 11:30) and (c) (Rom. 8:13) The unbeliever is walking in spiritual death, and is one step from Eternal Death. (UNBELIEVER) (Rev. 20:14) {PHYSICAL-DEATH THE BELIEVER}: "If any man see his brother sin a sin" (parental-sin) "which is not unto death," (Because he is forgiven from the penalty of sin, that will bring Eternal Death to him). "he shall ask, and he shall give him life..." (spiritual life so that he or she can keep-on-living and being-a-living-testimony-to-the-world). (1 John 5:16a-c) (Here, John is speaking of a believer, and the mental or physical death). "For his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin." (John 3:9b & c) (the seed is the New Nature, the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God). And because he received eternal-life when he received Jesus Christ as his personal-savior, he cannot sin. (eternally) (Rom. 8:9) In the latter part of verse sixteen, "There is a sin unto death:" (v. 16d) The brother will face Physical-Death if he refuses life and keep on sinning. AND IF THE BROTHER-REFUSES-TO-WALK-IN-FELLOWSHIP-WITH-CHRIST, he will lose-his-rewards, and possible his life, but not his soul.* "...And many sleep."* (1 Cor. 11:30b) "For if we would judge ourselves," (stop sinning) "we should not be judge." (be killed by *God*) "But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord," v. 32a-b And while "...Enoch was translated" to heaven "that he should not see death; and was not found, because... he had a testimony that pleased *God."* (Heb. 11:5) The sinning saint will be judged by *God* (see death) and taken to heaven, because he did-not-have-a-testimony that pleased *God.* Some-one has said, "It is possible for a saint to be fit for heaven, (in Christ) but not fitted to remain on the earth in testimony." (to-the-world) The (physical-death-is-the-sinning-believer), and Death here, is the physical-death by which God sometimes punishes His disobedient-peoples, regenerated and unregenerated. (a) (James 5:19-20) (b) (Acts 5:5-10) & (c) (I John 5:16) (and Eternal-death-for-the-sinning-unbeliever). (d) (Matt. 12:31)
In first John 5:17, John is speaking of two kings of sins, judicial-sin-the-sinner, and, parental-sins-the-sinning-saint.
If the sinner remain in sin, eternal-death and hell fire awaits him. If the Christian continue-to-sin, hell on earth and possible-death awaits him.

 1. Fig trees in Bible lands produced an early, edible fruit before the leaves appeared. (Matt. 21:19-20) This was a harbinger (a fore-runner) of the regular crop. If no early figs appeared, as in the case of this fig tree, it indicated that there would be no regular figs later on.

 2. The fig tree represents the nation of Israel. When Jesus came to the nation there were leaves, (they welcomed Him in His Triumphal-Entry) saying "...Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest."(Matt. 21:9e-g) Which speaks-of-profession, but no fruit for *God.* Jesus was hungry for fruit from the nation.

 3. Because there was no early fruit, He knew that there would be no later fruit from the unbelieving people, and So he said,"...Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever...." (Matt. 21:19f) This prepictured the judgment which would fall on the nation in A. D. 70. (Matt. 24:1-2)
4. We must remember that while unbelieving Israel will be fruitless for ever, (in this age) a remnant of the nation will return to the Messiah after the Rapture. They will bring forth fruit for Him during the Tribulation and His Millennial Reign.* Although the primary interpretation of this passage relates to the nation of Israel, it has application to all people of all ages who combine high talk and low walk. A quote from (Believer's Bible Commentary),
I. He showed-it by not dying (on a rugged cross with pierced hands and feet, a hole in his side by a soldier's spear), until he had found a home for his mother. (John 19:26-27) Here is a remote passage from the text to show the beginning of Jesus' ministry. (Matt. 4:17)-(NIV) And the calling of his twelve disciples, (Mark 3:14-21)-(WYC) but one of them was a Devil. But John went on to write the fourth gospel. He also wrote three epistles and the Revelation.
He is most known by the "beloved disciple" or "the other disciple" in the gospel. Jesus also made an eternal home for his spiritual Brothers and Sisters by dying on the tree, (1 Pet. 2:24) And he died "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."(Rom. 10:13)This verse is a quote from (Isaiah 53:5d), "And with his stripes we are healed." And this verse is often taken out of context. Since we are looking at the death of Jesus Christ, and the reason for Him diying on a rugged cross: with wounds, bruises, and the many stripes that he received for us, the same Jesus said unto Nicodemus, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3e) So we should understand that the stripes were Primarily for the eternal healing of the soul. (Heb. 5:9)-(TMB) And while there are many other scriptures on healing for the believer in this life, the best one is in the life to come.
For Paul said "But Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick." (2 Tim. 4:20b) "Epaphroditus"... "was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him." (Phil. 2:26-27) And the prophet Elisha, which wrought more miracles through God than anyone, next to Jesus, "was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died." (II Kings 13:14a) And Jesus told Paul, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." (2 Cor. 12:9b-c) But along with eternal-life, eternal physical healing will come to all believers in the next life. Where "Neither shall there be any more pain." (Rev. 21:4e) Although perfect health will come in the Millennium, a good close walk with God will ease-the-pain a little in this life. (3 John 2)
"When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!" (v. 26) cf 13:23 "Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved."
Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother!" And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home." (v. 27) cf 16:32
II. Here is a quote from WILLIAM MACDONALD, "In spite of His own suffering, the Lord has tender regard for others. Seeing His mother, and John, the disciple, He introduced John to her as the one who would hereafter take the place of son to her. (Me)
In calling His mother "Woman," the Lord did not show her any lack of respect. But it is noticeable that He did not call her "Mother." Does this have any lesson for those who might be tempted to exalt Mary to the place where she is adored? Jesus here instructed John to care for Mary as if she were his own mother. John obeyed and took Mary to his own home."
III. However, as I look at the intermediate cross reference, I find that John's father Zebedee-and his mother Salome were both alive. Remember, Jesus had a early death because his work here on earth was-done. As we can see that the women brought sweet spices to anoint His body, for their work, (Luke 24:1) and ours, has just begun. Again, we can see by the "Great commission-statement," (Matt. 28:19-20) that "You can't keep a good Man down." He got-up! He spoke to his disciples, and He is still speaking-today!

"{A Double Portion of Thy Spirit}"
Let's look at (v. 12), "That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ." In verses 12-13 he or she has trusted Christ and is born a gain. (John 3:3) (V. 13) In whom ye also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,"* now the Holy Spirit is our earnest (down payment or guarantee to heaven). Because in (v. 14) "Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory."*
Now you are signed, sealed, and delivered, into *heaven!* (Rom. 8:30-39)(I) "Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother." (Matt. 18:15)-(cf. (a) (Lev. 19:17) "But if he will not hear thee," (after you have went through (vv. 16-17) he or she will be "chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world." (I Cor. 11:32) (He would rather call you home, than to share you with the world).
(II) "Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness;" (Gal. 6:1a-d)-(cf. (a) Eph. 4:2)-(GNT)
(III) "Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;* Let him know, that he which converted the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death," (mental or physical-death) "and shall hide a multitude of sins." (James 5:19-20) (cf. (a) Matt. 18:15) (cf. v. 20 (b) Rom. 11:14)-(NCV)
(VI) "If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death," (eternal-death, that is) "he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death." (I John 5:16a-c)-(cf. (c)-(Jer. 7:16)-(NIV)
At the first resurrection, the obedient O. T. Saints will receive eternal life, (Heb. 11:16 NIV) while the N.T. Saints already have eternal life, (I John 2:25) and in their obedience, they will receive eternal rewards! (I Cor. 3:11-15 MSG)
I Let's clear-up the three "if" that are in first John one. In the book, there are twenty-one-in-total, but let's look at the main three. "If we say that we have no sin," (no sin nature) "we deceive ourselves." (v. 8a-b) But for our Corrupt-evil nature, (sin) we need forgiveness only once. But even though we are forgiven from the penalty of sin, and that we need it only once, if we fail to "Walk in the Spirit," as (Gal. 5:16b) exhorts us to do, we will soon fall into sin. (parental-sins)
II Now for a believer to walk in fellowship with God and other believers, if he or she sin, he or she must confess their sin (sins) and "He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (v. 9.) But remember, that this prayer is for believers only, and when we are forgiven, we still have "The sin nature," so watch-out!
III Verses eight and ten are saying the same thing, the writer wants to hit home the danger of having un-confessed sin. (Satan wants to minimize them) But "If we say that we have not sinned," (the sin nature) "we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." (v. 10) And because Satan knows that he can't keep a believer from going to heaven, and that he knows all about "the heavenly rule," once you are there, you can never leave, and once he was expelled, the Devil that is, he can never return. But one thing he does know, that he can keep you from having warm fellowship with God here on earth, by having un-confessed-sin. (Prov. 28:13)

Now here is the sum of the text, he or she who comes to Jesus is forgiven from the penalty of sin, the (corrupt evil nature), once for all. (Heb. 10:10)
But if he or she will maintain fellowship with God, he or she may need to be forgiven from the defilement of sins, day by day. (I John 1:9)His total concern for His people is shown when He provided-a-"Ram-in-the-thicket," for Abraham. This is the first of seven provisions that *God* has provided for His people. (to keep them complete) Because,
God's perfect number is "seven" and "completion." Like God, when He do a work in some one's life and gives him eternal life, it can't be altered or undone. Jesus said it himself, "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man "pluck" (snatch) "them out of my hand." (John 10:28)
Now you may say that, one can pluck himself out of God's hand, Not so; he can not! Just like Satan can not be a defense against himself, so can not the believer be. Even the very thought, of-one-departing-from-the-LORD is from the devil, for every evil-thought-comes-from-him. But "Neither... principalities, nor powers,..." can keep God's love from us. (or keep us from heaven) (Rom. 8:38) And just like an "HTML Document" can only be altered or changed by the one who created-it, so can he. (God saved-him) You may "view the source code" of a web-site and see the word "I am saved," you delete the word "saved" and put dammed, so it will say, "I am dammed," when you "upload" the document again, the ordinal word will reappear, Jesus said-it, "I am saved!" (only the one who created-it, can change-it)[BUT], For the believer's completeness, he is told to add these seven virtues for his stability. (1) ..."Virtue, (2) Knowledge, (3) Temperance, (4) Patience, (5) Godliness, (6) Brotherly-kindness, and (7), Charity..." (II Pet. 1:5-7) Just remember this, we serve the LORD...
 (1) Jehovah-jireh---"The LORD will provide." "And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering:"(Gen. 22:8a-c).
  (2) Jehovah-Rophekah---"...For I am the LORD, who heals you" (Ex. 15:26e-f (NIV).
 (3) Jehovah-Nissi--- "Moses built an altar there and named it Yahweh-nissi" (which means, "The LORD is my banner." (Ex. 17:15 (NLT).
  (4) Jehovah-Shalom--- "Then Gideon built an altar there to the LORD and named it, "The LORD is peace..." (Judg. 6:24a (NASB).
  (5) Jehovah-Roi--- "God, my Shepherd! I don't need a thing." (Psa. 23:1 (MSG).
 (6) Jehovah-Tsidkenu---"...The Lord Our Righteousness" (Jer. 23:6c (AMP).
  (7) Jehovah-Shammah---"The LORD is there." (Ezek. 48:35c) (GW)
(I) * There are seven Days in a week; in "Six days *God* made the world, "And he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made." (Gen. 2:2b)
(II) * But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest for the land," (Lev. 25:4a) "But the seventh day is a Shabbat to the LORD your God...." (Ex. 20:10a) (TLB) And a day of rest, (optional, since Christ came).
(III) * The seven churches will be evaluated (Rev. 2:1---3:22 (GNT).
(IV) * The seven-seals will be opened by the Lamb (Rev. 6:1---8:1 (NLT).
(VI) * The seven-angels with the seven-bowls are the last-seven-plagues (Rev. 15:1---18:24 (YLT).
(VII) * Joshua was told to march around the city once for six days, but on the "Seventh-day," seven priests shall blow before the ark the seven trumpets, as they march around the city seven times (Josh. 6:2-4).

Only by inviting Jesus Christ to be the honored guest and head of the home could Israel or anyone for that matter, know and received the full blessing of God.
(1) God gave them bread from heaven. "And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, "It is manna:" (Ex. 16:15a-c) God said, "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse," (your part) (Mal. 3: 10) and I will "pour you out a blessing that you will not have room enough to receive." (God's part) v. 6)
(3) God's miracle through Elisha provided "Oil" for the Shunammite Woman. "When all the jugs and bowls were full, she said to one of her sons, Another jug, please." He said, "That's it. There are no more jugs. Then the oil stopped." (II Kings 4:6)-(MSG) vv. 1-7 Geneva-Study-Bible
(4) Jesus used the perfect seven when he fed the seven plus thousands in a desert place, according to the gospel, and he fed them with "five loaves, and two fishes." (Matt. 14:17b-c)
(5) Jesus used the perfect seven when he fed the seven plus thousands in a desert place, When "He looked up to heaven, and blessed, and gave thanks, He gave them the five loaves, and two fishes" (Mark 6:41)
(6)Jesus used the perfect seven when he fed the seven plus thousands in a desert place, When "He took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed," according to the gospel, (Luke 9:16a-c)
 (7) What can we give to Jesus (to use for a miracle to happen) like the "Lad did with the five barley loaves, and the two small fished?" (John 6:9a-c)

{EPHESUS-1}:
The church of the first century was generally praiseworthy but it had already left its first love.* The messenger to this church is the angel of *God.* We already know that there is one church, and that The Church is a group of Baptized believers. (I Cor. 12:13) And that God will catch-a-way him a Church out of a church,-(building) (I Thess. 4:16-17) Because Jesus said, "And upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (Matt. 16:18c-d) (Sound like security to me) Seven is God's number of completion, and he uses the "number-seven" to describe his "...Baptized into one body" of believers. (v. 13a) And it is comforting to know that the church was perfect in its standing (By virtue of the finished work of Christ's on the cross) when it first believed, but not in its state. For we are told to "...Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling."* (Phil. 2:12f) It always get my attention when I hear a born again believer say something like, "If I can just make-it-in," take the "if" out and say when I make-it-in; salvation is a free gift and we can-not earn-it; we received eternal-life when we first believed. (Rom. 8:30e-f) But like the church at Ephesus, God with His pure discerning eyes can see our present-state, and say, "Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love." (v. 4) One thing that the seven churches has in common is the word words, "I know thy works,..." (v. 2a and ..."To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life...." (v. 7c)*{SMYRNA-2}:
This church from the first to the fourth century, had}* suffered persecution under the Roman emperors. But the church as a whole can fine comfort in knowing that, "Christ suffered for us* in the flesh" first. (I Peter 4:1a NKJV) And as I said earlier, that the church is any place where two or more believers meet. (Matt. 18:20 (GNT) This Church had great "...Poverty" but God told them, ("...but thou art rich...") (v. 9c) There will be a time that all you have is what you have given to the LORD. This church is told that they will receive the crown of life for their suffering, ..."And I will give thee a crown of life." (v. 10g) Now this crown is a special crown for martyrs, not for eternal life; for he or she received eternal life when he or she first believed. Although this church receives no rebukes, it is still told, "I know thy works,..." (v. 9a) and ..."He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death." (v. 11c) And again, we know that works can save nobody, and "Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?" (I John 5:5) And "You are of *God,* little children, and have overcome-them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in {*the world." (I John 4:4*}{PERAMOS-3}:
During the fourth and fifth centuries Christianity was recognized as an official religion through Constantine's patronage. As long as there is One unbeliever in the world, the church will have persecution. (II Tim. 3:12 (ASV) It is much easier to compromise and run-away, like Peter and the rest of Jesus' disciples did him when he needed them the most. (Matt. 26:56c-d) But as sure as God's perfect number is seven, His Church will stand until the call to heaven; for Christ said, ..."And upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (Matt. 16:18c-d) While Antipas and Stephen will receive the crown of life, the rest of the true believers will receive eternal life. One thing the seven churches has in common, is the words, I know thy works,..." (v. 13a) and ..."To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna" (v. 17c) And again, we know that works can save nobody, and we overcame when you first believed! "Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?" (I John 5:5) And "You are of *God,* little children, and have overcome-them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." (I John 4:4){THYATIRA-4}:
From the sixth to the fifteenth century, the Roman Catholic Church largely held sway in Western Christendom until racked by the Reformation. In the East, the orthodox Church ruled. As it is so with every church, if you receive right doctrine, you will live right doctrine. The fact that He told the church at Thyatira, "But that which ye have already hold fast till I come," (v. 25) proved that they had good doctrine. "The till I come" is the first phase of His Second Coming. He can't come before He come-back for the Church. (II Thess. 2:1 (HCSB) But in every church He gives this warning, " And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:" (v. 26) Yes, you overcame when you first believed! Because "Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?" (I John 5:5) And "You are of *God,* little children, and have overcome-them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." (I John 4:4) (1 John 4:4)-(MSG){SARDIS-5}:
The sixteenth and seventeenth centuries were the Post-Reformation period. The light of the Reformation soon became dim. The fact that He told some of them at Sardis over two thousands years ago, "...I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead,..." (v. 1d-g) He speaks those same words to some of us today. For this message is for the Church today! And we can change these churches by starting with ourselves. One thing the seven churches has in common, is the words, "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment;..." (v. 5a-b) And although the church will not go through the Tribulation-period, He sends comfort to them that will. For "...They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." (Rev. 12:11) bless *God,* we overcame when you first believed! And "Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?" (I John 5:5) "But you belong to God, my children, and have defeated the false prophets, because the Spirit who is in you is more powerful than the spirit in those who belong to the world." (I John 4:4) (GNT)*{PHILADELPHIA-6}:
During the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries,}* there were mighty revivals and great missionary movements. Philadelphia means love for the brethren. And they only received praise from the Lord. The fact that He told them to "Hold fast that which thou hast. That no man take thy crown,"* means that they had a part in seeing that it doesn't happen. (notice, He said crown, not salvation) And He told them, "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth." (Rev. 3:10) (The church will not go through the Tribulation-period)! You can sum it all up, salvation is not at state for the church, but for the crowns, and God is talking Crowns for {Smyrna {2:10} and {Philadelphia {v. 11}. One thing the seven churches has in common, is the words "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God" (v. 12a) And for philadelphia, God will write upon him the "Name of my God" the name new Jerusalem" and the new name, Jesus" Now you overcame when you first believed! (I John 5:5) And "Ye are of *God,* little children, and have overcome-{*them:..." (I John 4:4a-c)*}{LAODICEANS-7}:
Now we come to The Church of to day, which is Christ's Bride. All the churches are similar in some way, one is that they were visited by God.* Now while the church at {Ephesus} could be call the loveless church, and {Philadelphia} is said to be the brotherly-love church, and because they loved him, He want the world "...To know that I have loved thee." (v. 9h) {The Laodiceans} is the lukewarm church.* (v. 16a) And while the church at {Smyrna} thought that they were poor, *God* said, ..."(But thou art rich)..." (2:9c) And while the church at {Laodicea} thought that they were Rich, God declared them too, to be ..."Miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:" (v. 17f-i) The church at {Thyatira} had good works, but God thought that they had too much tolerant, He said, "Because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel." (2:20b) {Pergamos} had great Faith, but they too, *God* said was too tolerant, "Because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam." (2:14b) The church at {Sardis} didn't hold to false doctrine, but they also didn't hold fast to true doctrine. And Christ told them, "Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast." (v. 3a-b) "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne" (v. 21a) And it is comforting to know that we the Church, overcame him (the devil) when it first believed! (I John 5:5) And "You are of *God,* little children, and have overcome-them:..." (I John 4:4a-c) (Heb. 2:1 (YLT)The seven churches mention, along-with the Church today, will be judged "According to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."* (I Cor. 5:10c-d) (The Church-as-a-whole, will-be-judged with the purpose of purification and reward, (Tit. 2:14b) but the world with purpose of punishment.) (Rev. 20:11-15)
